This sketchpad is very durable and has some texture. Great for sketching with pencils, colored pencils, chalk, or other dry mediums. I like that each sheet is perforated on the top for easy tearing. Perfect for the artist in your life!

This is a pretty decent sized sketch book. The pages are thick and can handle pencil shading, chalk, paint and markers. The spiral bound helps when working on a page. I would definitely buy again.

My kids are artists and this paper is amazing. They are using these books for sketching, watercolor markers and pen art. Results have been good with all 3 mediums. The smaller size of the books is perfect for putting in satchels for drawing on the go. The rings across the top are good quality too. This is a great set and we are all super pleased with the quality, size and price.

I got this for my son who likes to sketch. He is taking an art class at school and this is perfect for his drawings. He is very happy with it and it’s serving him well in his class. It’s got sturdy covers which protect his work. The spiral binding is good to provide a flat drawing surface. He lines the perforated pages so he can take out the pages when he needs to.

This holds graphite very well, but it is slightly rough for good blending because of how it retains the graphite. It should also be great for Charcoal, but again blending will take a little more patience but ultimately hold well.I am not sure how well it would work with ink.

The sketchbooks are a good value and I like the top spiral design. These would be a good gift for anyone who enjoys sketching. Their size makes them handy for taking with you. I look forward to using these.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the paper, the size and structure! Artists don’t hesitate on this one. Might be a little heavy for field work but great for studio!
